there is what normal people do on Friday nights alone… then there is me… :P 

this is what I do when I get bored :P I need to work on my gif skills.

Today Dance Vision had its thirteenth and final recital. I’ll cherish all the friends, memories, and lessons I gained through this amazing place and from the extraordinary people that I met there.

I had a bit of a rough day. I heard some very sad news: my dance studio where I spent almost all of my time as a kid and teenager is closing. I was one of Dance Vision’s first students and I also taught there for a couple of years. Because of dance and the people at DV I learned self-discipline, I didn’t party, I learned to work through the pain, I learned that hard work equals goals achieved, I avoided drugs and alcohol, I learned the joys of helping people, I became a better student, I became a better person. 

And now this place that I laughed, bled, smiled, broke bones, cried, and learned in is going to be gone. It feels like I am losing my home. 

I have already spoken to my supervisor about booking the day off of work for Dance Vision’s final recital ever. I will probably have a few more sad days before then…
